It’s raining. Your best friend is moving on Monday. It’s summer. The canoe tied to the old stump drifts back and forth on its leash in the river. Your knee is skinned. The sun rises. Matt Schwerin

I've fallen into Wonderland… Or am I at the gates of Heaven? Wherever I am, I never want to leave.
The four-song stretch from Great Escape to All Over Now is immeasurably divine. Oh, I love this album. I LOVE this album. HK

The cover art is exceptional—evocative, ambiguous, and powerful, infusing the music with added emotional weight by association exclusively. The album is fulfilling. It presents well-composed ambient compositions with a clear post-rock influence, albeit without the tangible sense of scale. While it doesn't break new ground, not every album in this genre is obligated to do so. There's merit in aiming for a sound reminiscent of video game background noise—a pursuit that can be commendable. giovannilauffer
